Graphic Designer Portfolio

Hi! My name is Danielle and I'm a graphic designer with a passion for creating captivating visuals that communicate messages effectively. I have the most experience with infographics, branding, and design for print. I believe that design should be a balance between creativity and functionality, and I strive to achieve that in every project I work on. In my free time I love to create art in any form. I enjoy sculpting, painting, and printmaking. I also like to game a little and try things that are new to me, like 3d modeling and Chinese Calligraphy. Marketing/Design Team for the UTD Office of Undergraduate Education

2022 - Present

Creates flyers, programs, merchandise, etc. for the Office of Undergraduate Education and the Student Success Center.
Works with staff to produce both physical and digital work that all parties are happy with.
Collaborates with colleagues to create designs and assist one another if needed.

Graphic Design Intern for Make-A-Wish NTX

Sept. 2024 - Dec 2024

Assisted the Marketing and Communications Team with day-to-day graphic design needs of the chapter.
Supported the ideation and execution of creative concepts, strategies, and campaigns while bringing new ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
Ensured all projects and assets were accurate and aligned with enterprise guidelines, mission, vision and values.

Graphics Artist at The UTD Mercury

2021-2022

Designed illustrations and infographics for the campus newspaper.
Worked with reporters to set expectations, establish concepts, and tailor graphics to their needs.
Implemented proposed adjustments from both the Graphics Editor and reporters.
Employed design fundamentals when selecting typography, color palette, and composition in design work.

Finalist in Design I Crit Friday, a showcase opportunity offered to students who are nominated by their professors.

Designed a holiday campaign billboard for Make-A-Wish, viewed by thousands on the highways, which helped boost awareness for the cause and contributed to holiday donation season.

Proficient in the Adobe Suite, primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.

Proficient in Canva, Procreate, and the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
